Smiles for mama.
Celebrating every moment I do my hair & make-up (it's an accomplishment, people!!)
Making herself laugh.
Saving tons of time & energy by shredding chicken in my KitchenAid! (Do it when chicken is hot, right out of oven, use paddle attachment, speeds 4-6 for 30 seconds. Lifesaver!!)
Loving toy cars & learning to share with cousin Tadd.
Watching Elf while sick mama sleeps.
Seeing my beautiful friends sealed to their sweet twins (And I still take credit for them getting together. Met at a birthday party I threw! Me! I introduced them!! Look at them now!)
Rides through the canyon to put a babe to sleep.
Costco trips.
New hairstyles! She finally sits still long enough for me to get it into a little top-knot nubbin!
Great friends with Great-Grandma.
Happy to be in Idaho with family!
Mesmerized by Angry Birds (she loved Aunt Lynn's iPad!)
Taking her first steps!! Who knew the motivation she needed was just an iPad playing a Toy Story story?
Shoshone Falls. Mama freaking out even though I knew baby's head was too big to fit through those slots.
Hat tolerator. These were precious moments when baby actually kept the hat on.
So glad I finished this post. Now to go curl up in bed and get some more rest while babe's still sleeping! Being a sick mama is not fun. Thank goodness for PBS kids and our stand-by babysitter, Elf the movie.

Oh my goodness, she is just adorable. I loveeee her hair. I can't wait until Aria has enough hair that I'll be able to do something fun with it -- if she'll sit still long enough to let me, anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is so nice to finally be able to do something with her hair. I remember in December when she barely had enough to pin with a barrette and I was ecstatic!
DeleteShe looks a lot like Eric!! Feel better:)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. When you see them together, they look like twins! I feel like I need to carry around a baby picture of me so people can see she had my coloring back then too. Haha!
DeleteI agree, make-up is an accomplishment! There is one picture where he really looks like Eric.
ReplyDeleteTwins! We get that all the time. Especially since my hair is dark now.

DeleteHey Tracie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on and following my blog. I'm following you back now. Your blog is great, and these pictures are absolutely adorable. I love the hair clips and ponytails. My daughter is 8 months old, and her hair is ALMOST long enough for hair clips. Can't wait. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how I really admire how honest and open your blog is. It's great to read about the experiences of another new mom, and to know that someone else goes through the exact same things. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
